This September I will be carrying a torch as a breast cancer survivor. On October 26, 2015 my life was forever changed with the diagnosis of Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. There is currently no cure but I'm not giving up hope. Only 11% percent of breast cancer patients are diagnosed under 40.
Every morning when I open my eyes I thank the Lord for another day to make memories with my family and friends.
Gloria Gemma is a great organization that has helped me through this journey. They provide great services for cancer survivors and their family's. 90% of funds raised goes right to Gloria Gemma foundation to help all those touched by breast cancer in our community.
