It’s been about a year since my life changed and I heard those dreaded words that I have breast cancer.  I had a bilateral mastectomy in December of 2016 and then found out that my cancer was worse than they thought, it was much larger and had spread to my lymph nodes.  At that point I was told that I had to have chemo therapy and radiation.  I’ve been challenged every step of the way, more than I ever thought I would be.  This battle has really tested my outlook and strength.  I wouldn’t have been able to conquer this diagnosis without the help, love and support from my wonderful family, co-workers and friends who were there for me every step during this very emotional and trying time.
