This proud mom would love your support as we help The FOUNDATION meet their goal for their ONLY annual fundraiser!  The FOUNDATION (Michael's favorite charity) provides programs and scholarships (they gave over $120,000 in scholarships in 2016 alone) to help individuals with Down syndrome reach their full potential and to help create more inclusive communities.  I know that what they are doing without a doubt is making a difference. During Down Syndrome Awareness Month, my family and I danced together at a joyful event celebrating amazing individuals with Down syndrome.  And during the summer we took a Zumba class together led by an amazing young woman and dancer who has Down syndrome.  In just a few days I will be watching my son (age 9) stand on a stage, along with his second grade peers), and be a bumblebee in the school play, and I know the happy tears will be streaming down my face.  Thank you Foundation for the IEP scholarship that made that victory possible!
