As many of you are aware, I've been geeking out on my bike for the last year or so. Since then, I have improved my health, lost some weight, and crushed some fitness goals and challenges I had set for myself. Another one of these challenges is coming up soon.
In September I will be participating in the 100-mile "Tour de Fuzz" ride and pedaling the extra mile to raise funds for two very special police chaplaincy programs. Both locally and nationwide, Tour de Fuzz's two nonprofit benefactors are on the cutting edge of this much needed community service and I've committed to raising $125 for all the good they do. Please support me!
Sonoma County's Law Enforcement Chaplaincy may be the best police chaplaincy program nationwide. 24/7/365, and at no cost, they respond with the police directly to scenes of tragedy and loss. Their all-volunteer, compassion-centric "Sonoma Model" is unique, and The Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Foundation is out to spread it nationwide.
This year The Foundation wants to GIVE all police chaplains across the country free membership to their private online learning and social networking community. It's a nationwide vision to increase chaplain performance and resiliency, and I'm riding to help make that happen.
Please support me and my epic ride. You'll be helping me make a real difference, and all donations are fully tax deductable to the extent allowed by law.
