Over the past 20 years LivableStreets has made a tremendous impact on transportation in the greater Boston area!

Team Kittie Knox, named after Katherine “Kittie” Knox — a barrier-breaking Black woman cyclist from Cambridge in the 1890s who challenged both gender and racial barriers in the cycling world. Her legacy inspires us to ride for change today.

We love LivableStreets because they are really good at:

Building coalitions with local neighborhood groups and other advocates to amplify our collective voice-- examples include the Vision Zero street safety coalition and the Transit is Essential Coalition.

Holding government accountable by tracking and measuring progress on projects and policies-- examples include 64 HOURS: Closing the Bus Equity Gap, and the "Not on a Shelf" evaluation of Boston's long-range transportation plan.

Providing thought leadership by educating and informing elected officials, decision makers, and the public about transformational policies and designs, we break down silos and facilitate connections that enable change to happen.

Please make a contribution to support their work!
