We want to so do our part to help The Down Syndrome Foundation of Florida
We would love your support as we help The FOUNDATION meet their goal for the annual fundraiser! The FOUNDATION provides programs and scholarships (they have awarded over $1,400,000 in scholarships since 2010) to help individuals with Down syndrome reach their full potential and to help create more inclusive communities. We know without a doubt what they are doing is making a difference and hope you will join us for the TOUR OF CHAMPIONS BOWLING Fundraiser on February 16th, 2025.
WHY THIS BOWLING TEAM IS IMPORTANT TO MARIAH: Mariah has been receiving The Down syndrome Foundation of Florida (DSFF) SCHOLARSHIPS over the years (10+ years) from this absolutely spectacular Down syndrome organization located in Orlando! Even when we lived in South Florida, Mariah received her Music Lessons from the SCHOLARSHIPS from DSFF! Now that we live in Citrus County, Mariah is able to attend some of the DSFF events and activities in the Orlando area. Mariah is currently receiving a COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP that is providing her with weekly DANCE LESSONS in Inverness. Mariah and her mom, Nancy are beyond grateful for the Community Scholarship especially and so many other events & opportunities this wonderful Down Syndrome Community provides to Families in Florida.
Please help us make Mariah's Team Citrus County Fundraising goal of $500. Add the Bowling event to your calendar on Feb. 16th, 2025 so you can come out to Orlando and join in all the FUN THAT DAY if you want! You can come as a spectator to cheer on our champion and participate in a fantastic AUCTION day of event. Be a Bowler on her team day of! You can be a VIRTUAL Bowler as well to be supportive. It's a day not to be missed! A Worthy Cause that is meaningful to Mariah Harris for sure!
