A king is the embodiment of his people. Meaning what he does is not for himself but for the whole of his empire. When his people thrive, he thrives when they suffer, he suffers. The king is just an extension of his people. A good king at least.
But this is also bigger than that for me. As someone who was formerly incarcerated, I never got the chance to experience prom, so this moment means something real. Being prom king wouldn’t just be about me—it would represent growth, second chances, and the kind of community we’re building together.
And if you’re thinking about who to vote for, I hope you’ll consider me. Not just because I bring the fun, but because I genuinely care about creating a space where everyone feels seen, included, and celebrated. Voting for me means choosing someone who represents second chances, positive energy, and real community—and I’ll make sure this is a prom we all remember.
