I am just so excited and humbled to share my decision to run the Twin Cities Marathon in Minneapolis this October! The Lord has given me an opportunity to take my love for running and partner with Children's Team Superstars to serve children that have been affected by cancer and blood disorders. On this run, I will have the opportunity to serve kids through fundraising for some of the most amazing people on earth. Children's is the largest cancer and blood disorders program in the Upper Midwest and is among the top pediatric centers nationally for long term survival... and I have the privilege of raising funds to help these families through their cancer and blood disorder journey.
I cannot finish this race alone, which is why I am asking for your support. Your support will not only go to each child through ensuring supportive services of nutritionists, psychologists and care coordinators but for their families as well. These funds provide the services of chaplains, child life specialists, interpreters and social workers to all families and assist in offsetting funeral expenses and end-of-therapy celebrations.
