Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I have chosen to run the Twin Cities 10 mile this year and have joined Team Superstars! My journey with Children's started about 4.5 years ago when I was hired as a Registered Nurse in the ICC (Infant Care Center) where I work with so many amazing staff members and work with chronicly ill babies. I knew when I was a teenager that I wanted to be a nurse as I often took care of my younger siblings!
As most of you know, I recently lost my mother and to me it feels like an awful young age. I selfishly want as a goal to take better care of myself so that I can better take care of my family. I want to be able to play with my children and future grandchildren. This time I decided that I would like to help other families by raising money for our Neonatal Program. I will be running for myself, my kids, patients and families.
I have chosen to support the Neonatal Program here at Children's with my fundraising efforts. Any donation you choose to make will help these premature and chronic babies and families!
I feel so blessed to say that I work at Children's in the ICC and that I am apart of Team Superstars this year! Thank you for all of your support!
