Hello!
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! As many of you know I am passionate about running to raise awareness and funds for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Thank you for helping me achieve my goals. On October 1 I will be running the Twin Cities Marathon as a part of Team SuperStars Charity team for Children's Minnesota! I am excited to be running to support the Children's Hospital I am fortunate enough to work at!
My inspiration comes from my experience as a patient at Gillette Children's Hospital. I was fourtunate to have an amazing experience and hope to give back to more children the same wonderful expereince. As a patient I worked to make a difference through making and donating tie blankets to Gillette. When I arrived at college, Miami University, I knew I wanted to make more of a difference. I became the philanthropy chair of my sorority Phi Mu and philanthropy banquet chair for my medical fraternity, Phi Delta Epsilon. I also volunteered at Children's Minnesota and Interned at Gillette Children's and Cincinnati Children's. I discovered my love for running and set out to run to make a difference!
I have run as a Children's Champion at the Columbus half marathon, a Miracle Marker at the Disney Princess Half Marathon, and as a St.Jude Hero at the Nashville Rock and Roll half marathon. In addition to a few other half marathons, I ran my first full marathon this spring during the Flying Pig Marathon. I am so excited to be running on Team Superstars for the upcoming Twin Cities Marathon!
