I first signed up for the Ten Mile and did not get into the race. There is a lottery and I was not picked, and Josh was. I was really disappointed, but had a feeling there was a reason. Today the reason was revealed. They save spots for charities and you can fundraise and be part of a team all supporting a cause that is close to my heart. I am running with Children's Minnesota and raising money to help support all the wonderful things they do there.
We know Children's very well and could not be more blessed to have a resource like them. Both of our girls have had surgeries and spent extended time as patients with Children's. While I pray you may not need the services of Children's, I know should you, that you will be amazed by the amount of love and thought put into your time there.
