Over the last few years I have become much more aware of the world of childhood cancer and I would like to help do something to help those affected. SOOOOOOO......
On October 1st, I am going to set the Guinness World record for runwalking 10 miles while wearing a large brain made of sprayfoam.
Yep you read that right. Guinness record, 10 miles, sprayfoam brain.
Confused? Me too! I have done very little trainning. I have only worn the brain once for a 5k walk. So this should go very very well.
I am lugging this glob of "GREAT STUFF" for 10 miles to benefit Children's Hospital of MN. Specifically I am raising funds for kids and families facing a brain tumor diagnosis. I am calling my foam brain creation....Totally Brain Dad. This is my first event as "Totally Brain Dad" and if it works I hope to use my big brain for other events to help raise more money for pediatric brain tumor patients and their families.
And here's the best part----you can be a part of this! (pause for Phil Dunphy WHAT!!?!! screams)
I pledged to raise $1000 for this race and so many friends and familie responded that I already topped that. You guys rule. But now that we are rolling. Let's get to $2000 or more... Your call people!
I will be dedicating my run/walk to these awesome kids and their families and all other pediatric brain tumor families out there.
