As many of you know, we became part of the bleeding disorders community last year when we found our newborn's blood doesn't clot. Thanks to the work of organizations like the Upper Midwest Bleeding Disorders Alliance and many families that have come before us, the reality for our Sunshine Boy is very different from what was possible even 10 years ago.

With medication, he now crawls and tumbles as any other 1-year-old does. We are keenly aware that this wouldn't be possible without a village of advocates, educators, researchers, scientists, healthcare providers, support services, and many more!
