When I Tim L. was new in the Valley and first came into contact with The Lehigh Conference Of Churches They helped me change my life in ways I could not even have imagined at that time. TLCC gave me a hand up not a hand out, tools and resources helping me to change my life so housing, where my next meal is coming from and healthcare are no longer daily concerns. Not only did this agency and the people working their help me in these tangible ways they restored my faith in humanity and my higher power. Now I am truely blessed to be a part part of this amazing organization and the awesome work we do. I want to be a part of making my story a reality for many. Our Ecumenical Soup Kitchen opens its doors three days a week to anyone who hungers for nourishment and an hour of warmth, sociability and acceptance.
The Daybreak program provides a family to those who have none, serving in treatment for mental illness, substance abuse and HIV/AIDS, as well as elderly living in crushing poverty.
Our HOPE program offers support to homeless adults dealing with mental illness and substance abuse.
Pathways Housing Services connects those in need to a wide variety of available services—all in one place. We educate people about housing options, offer referral information and help with day-to-day needs.
We seek to unite our community by coordinating Christian unity, interfaith engagement and social justice and advocacy.
