At the 2028 Teacher of the Year Celebration, taking place on January 20, 2027, at the Sandler Center, we will honor 86 Teachers of the Year—one from each Virginia Beach City Public School—along with one special education teacher. During the evening, we will also announce our citywide Teacher of the Year.
