Dear Friends & Family ;

Today, I am reaching out to friends and family to raise money for the Club's Youth Rowing Program. Vero Beach Rowing is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that serves Indian River County by promoting  and teaching the sport of rowing. Check out the club's website http://verobeachrowing.org   All the donations will directly underwrite the travel expenses, dues, new equipment and operations for the Youth Rowing Program.  It is our goal to help keep our travel fees and dues low so we can offer the sport to everyone in the county regardless of any potential financial restrictions!

To show you just how committed I am to this sport, I am participating in two back to back rowing challenges!  On October 27th from 12:00 noon to October 28th from 12:00 noon our entire Youth Rowing Team, will be locked into the Orchid Island Cross Fit gym and we will row on ergs - (indoor rowing machines) for 24 straight hours!! This is our team's 2018 Ergathon - 24Hours for 24K!  The very next weekend I will  be taking part in a joint exercise with US Navy Seals.  We will divide into four teams to complete a 22,000 meter erg relay, a run through the Navy Seal obstacle course (led by two active Navy Seals), and then run the Muster 5k. Our coaches call this event the "BearCage".

In return for your support, I will be giving you my blood sweat and tears! I’ll keep going because of the commitment I’m making to the club, my teammates, myself and to you!
