This will be the 4th Annual Virginia Beach Sheriff's Office Turkey Bowl and is lining up to be the best one yet!

The 3rd Annual Turkey Bowl and The Extra Point: Giving Back to the Community and the Planet was a tremendous success thanks to the collaboration of our partners, volunteers, and school communities. Together, we raised $6,085 for the VBEF Beach Bags Program, helping ensure students have access to nutritious meals over school breaks.

The Extra Point event also made a significant environmental and community impact. Through the Drop & Shop clothing swap, more than 75 large bags of clothing were diverted from the landfill and instead redistributed for meaningful reuse by families across Virginia Beach. Participants engaged in zero-waste education, supported the Beach Bags food drive, and took part in hands-on activities that promoted sustainability and community service.

We are grateful to the Virginia Beach Sheriff’s Office, the Virginia Beach Clean Community Commission, VBCPS staff, volunteers, and all community partners who helped make this event possible. Your efforts created a day that not only celebrated school spirit but also strengthened our ability to support students and families across the city.
