I am lacing up my running shoes and returning to London in 2027 for my first English race. I'll be at the London Marathon in 2027 to help end pediatric brain cancer.

England holds a special place in my heart. I lived in the Cotswolds as a child and in Brighton as a student during my year abroad, so the opportunity to return and run through a place that shaped me is incredibly meaningful.

Right now, aggressive childhood brain tumors are among the deadliest cancers, with the average life expectancy post-diagnosis of just 9–12 months. Researchers desperately need funding to find cures. I’m running to raise money for the Dragon Master Initiative because they are doing things differently. They break down research silos and use a data-driven approach to connect scientists worldwide, speeding up the timeline to a cure.

I’m incredibly grateful for the people who continually encourage me to dream big and run hard, especially my UORCers and the Villains RunDisney family. Their support and encouragement remind me that running is about so much more than the miles.

Every step I take is dedicated to the brave children and families facing this diagnosis. Every dollar you donate directly funds the specialized tools, data systems, and laboratory essentials needed to crack the genetic code of this disease.
