Thank you for visiting my 2020 Promise Walk for Preeclampsia fundraising page.
I am grateful for your donations and for your help in spreading the word about preeclampsia. My goal is to help our community raise funds and awareness and save the lives of moms and babies!
Please make a donation to support our efforts to fund education and research into this life-threatening disorder of pregnancy.
While pregnant with my first child, Norah, I didn't know much about Preeclampsia. It was something I read about, but didn't think it would happen to me, until I was in the hospital 5 weeks early with high blood pressure. Norah was born at 36 weeks and thankfully only had minor issues developing and catching up. With my second child, McKinley, I spent the last 8 weeks of my pregnancy on bedrest. 11 of those days were in the hospital being monitored. I'm so grateful for my healthy children and the wonderful care that my family and I had. I know not all families are as lucky as I am. I am doing this walk to bring awareness to preeclampsia and support research in preeclampsia.
