I am an Obstetrician and Gynecologist currently working as a laborist.  Preeclampsia is a very serious, life threatening disorder of pregnancy.  It is one of the major causes of morbidity and mortality during pregnancy.  We need to do more to help with early diagnosis and intervention to prevent this disease and prevent the life threatening consequences of it for all women.  Please join me in raising funds for this organization.  In addition to finding out more about how to treat and prevent preeclampsia they provide free blood pressure cuffs to women at risk in underserved areas who cannot afford one of their own.
