As the coordinator of the Dominion mentoring program with Elkhardt Thompson Middle School in Richmond, Virginia, I see the power of mentoring up close. I share in the Virginia Mentoring Partnership's goal of, "Every child in Virginia who needs a mentor should have a mentor." 150,000 children in Virginia alone are still in need of mentoring relationships with caring adults.
