Why #voiceless4animaljustice

Hi friends! Those of you who know me, know I have a deep love for anything that promotes the well-being of animals. Much of the work I do in my everyday life is motivated by the chance to create a better world for all animals. I am currently in a Master's program studying science and technology, particularly how to promote the restructuring of Ontario's animal agricultural industry through technoscience, law, and policy and also uncovering cultural norms that underpin our traditional food manufacturing practices. Most importantly, I believe that the atrocities that occur on factory farms and the legitimating factors within our legal systems sustain a level of violence and silence I know most would not support. This is why I chose to fundraise and participate in this year's #voiceless4animaljustice2021, to contribute to an organization that is working at the forefront of animal rights in all sectors of our society.
