I've been following Animal Justice's work for almost a year now, and it's been so heartening to see their progress on such a wide range of animal protection issues in Canada. In fact, they're Canada’s only national animal law advocacy organization! During the September 2021 election, they co-hosted the first federal debate with MPs specific to animal issues. They've also recently filed a legal complaint regarding the treatment of Kiska, an orca who has been kept in solitary confinement at Marineland for over a decade. Beyond that, they are a fantastic source of education on all things animal law, from their Paw and Order podcast to the annual Canadian Animal Law Conference they host, which is attended by leading Canadian and international animal law scholars.

My birthday is on November 10th, which is right on time for #Voiceless4AnimalJustice2021! I'd love if anyone who can, donates to this wonderful initiative.
