The mission of Healing Garden Cancer Support Center is to optimize quality of life for all those affected by cancer: patients, caregivers, and the bereaved. The Healing Garden provides high quality, evidence-based therapies in a restorative environment, located on eight acres of gardens in Harvard, Massachusetts. Services are available on a sliding scale, with many of their events at no cost, to allow people who might otherwise not be able to afford it to participate and benefit from their offerings. This year I am dedicating my walk to the memory of my dear friend Sherene Aram, who passed away last month after a diagnosis of glioblastoma only a few months prior. I am heartbroken at her loss, and so this year the walk is especially meaningful to me. Thank you for your support.
