What is Wag Your Wheels Motor Show?
Wag Your Wheels Motor Show, benefitting the abused, neglected and forgotten animals of Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center is a socially distanced and responsibly curated outdoor event featuring a wide arrage of cars, motorcycles, trucks and Jeeps!

When and Where will Wag Your Wheels Motor Show be happening?
Join us on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Voorhees Town Center located at 2140 Voorhees Town Center in Voorhees, NJ from 11AM-3PM!  We have a rain date of Sunday, May 16th at the same location and at the same time.

Will there be awards?
YES!  There will absolutely be awards!  We currently have a working list of about 10 different awards (including categories like "Best in Show," "People's Choice," "Best Club," and "Most Pet Friendly," but we are relying on registrations to let us know how specialized some of our other categories need to be, so be sure to help us out by registering early!

How do I register?
You can register your ride using this link!

Do I *HAVE* to register?  Can't I just show up the day-of?
We are requiring registration for all those who wish to be considered for the Motor Show.  This is a necessary requirement for several reasons:

  1. Due to COVID restrictions, we have a cap that we must adhere to in order to responsibly and safely curate the event.  Registrations ensure we do not exceed that cap
  2. Registrations also ensure we have enough SWAG bags for those participating
  3. Registrations provide us with important info like vehicle type and category so we can better acknowledge these categories with specialized awards
  4. Registrations help us reach our fundraising goals!!!

What happens if I show up the day-of without registering?
You don't have to register to join us for the fun!  You will be directed to spectator parking and welcomed into the Motor Show area to view all the gorgeous vehicles that had registered.

When do I have to register by?
Registration closes on May 7, 2021, though we reserve the right to close registration sooner if we hit our cap prior to May 7th.  As such, we encourage all interested drivers to register early to ensure you have a spot!

What does my registration fee include?
Registration includes a reserved space in our Motor Show area, entry into the awards portion of the Show, a door prize ticket, and a personalized SWAG Bag including a T-shirt, pet-friendly items, car products, and promotional materials from our sponsors (a $100 value!).

Does my registration fee really help any animals?
YES!  100% of your registration fee goes directly towards helping the animals of Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center.

Can I make an extra donation?
ABSOLUTELY!  In fact, we highly encourage it as the more money we raise, the more animals we're able to help!

Vehicles don't have anything to do with animals.  Why are you hosting a motor show?
The last year has taught us of the need to think outside the box when it comes to fundraising.  Several of Homeward Bound's volunteers and staff members are active in car and bike clubs, and this seemed like a great way to harness a community that loves both animals and vehicles!

Is Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center a No-Kill Shelter?
We are the leading open-admission shelter in the region with the highest save rate – over 95% in 2020! – since 2016, making us no-kill.  We typically serve over 5,000 animals annually and provide low-cost spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, dental work and microchipping to publicly owned animals through our state-of-the-art clinic.  We also run a weekly Pet Food Pantry aimed at ensuring owned pets have their basic needs covered, too!

What's an open-admission shelter?
Open-admission shelters are unique in that we are legally required to accept any animal regardless of age, breed, medical status, behavioral challenges, or species should it be brought through our doors.  We receive animals from illegal fighting rings, hoarding situations, abuse/neglect cases, natural disasters, car accidents, and stray / owner surrenders.  We do our best to ensure each animal that comes to us is given a fair shot at a happily ever after.
