We are walking again this year to help raise money to support all of the people with Neurofibromatosis, like Ava. We know money is tight for everyone, and we appreciate any small amount you can donate. As many of you know, Ava was diagnosed with NF1 when she was a baby. The hardest part is never knowing what will happen next, as this is a lifelong developing disorder with countless outcomes. She has been through a lot in her 13 years, but we'll always keep fighting. Neurofibromatosis, pronounced neuro-fibroma-tosis, is an autosomal dominant genetic disorder which causes the growth of tumors along nerves in the skin, brain, spine, and other parts of the body, at any time.
