ASK is a great organization that has help my grandson, Holden, during his treatment and now that he is off treatment. ASK has given us a few hours of respite while I was helping to care for Holden during his in-patient chemo treatments so that my daughter-in-law, Jess, and I could leave the hospital and know he was looked after. They have helped with financial burdens associated with cancer treatment and sent packages to make the kids smile. My granddaugther, Piper, has had the opportunity to attend a special preschool that ASK sponsors that is only for cancer patients and siblings of patients. This allows kids in treatment to have a semi-normal preschool experience, outside of the hospital, but still takes in to consideration their complex medical situations.
