Peyton is my best friend's daughter and I watched her fight Ewing Sarcoma, amazed at her strength and determination to beat it. Witnessing her battle inspires my daily life... some things have become less important and others started to matter more. 

One of the things that has become more important is helping other children and families who fight this disease. Beyond the emotional and physical toll, it is a massive financial burden to these families at a time when they have to take time off work to take their child to treatments and care for them while they're sick.

This is where ASK steps in. The provide gift cards for groceries and gas and money for bills. They provide counseling for the child and for family members and tutoring for the child so they don't get behind in school. They also hold events like prom and summer camps so that they kids still get to have fun and attend some events they might otherwise miss out on.
