On May 16th, the Whitney Warriors! will be participating in a virtual version the Connecticut NAMI Walk. It will be seventh year of us fundraising for NAMI.

  (https://www.nami.org/Home), is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. What started as a small group of families gathered around a kitchen table in 1979 has blossomed into the nation's leading voice on mental health." 
• "Today, we are an association of hundreds of local affiliates, state organizations and volunteers who work in your community to raise awareness and provide support and education that was not previously available to those in need"

You can help by spreading the word about NAMI, or more specifically donating to our team or individual walker pages. This year, our team is once again raising money for NAMI Elm City (the New Haven chapter of NAMI). Over 90% of the funds raised by the Walk go to support the signature programs that we provide at no charge to participants.
