VCA Walk for the Animals

When registering for the Walk for the Animals you can participate as an Individual Walker or as part of a Pack (a team of 2 or more people). If you have a few friends, co-workers or family members that want to join you on Walk Day and are interested in raising money, this is a great way to get everyone involved. Companies also form Packs as a teambuilding exercise for their employees and a way of making their companies more philanthropic.

There is no minimum amount for Packs to raise, but there are incentives when Packs reach qualifying status. Each team becomes a qualifying Pack when they raise $1,500 collectively, but Packs always strive for more. Although $1,500 may sound like a lot of money, it's actually very easy to reach. Use your creativity and check out our Pack Leader Guide to see just how you can meet and exceed that goal.

When you reach Qualifying Pack Status by hitting the $1,500 mark, your Pack Perks kick in. Here are some of the special incentives you'll receive:

• A Prize Exclusive to Qualifying Packs

• Commemorative Pack Photo taken at the Walk

• A Pack Sign printed for you with your own Pack logo

• And more!

If your team has cash or check donations and you'd like to skip the lines on Walk Day, schedule a time to come in to the shelter for our Pack-Check-In / S'Wag Bag Pick Up dates. They are by appointment only and are scheduled for the following dates/times:

• Thursday, February 23, 2023 - 9:00am - 5:00pm
• Friday, February 24, 2023 - 9:00am - 5:00pm
• Saturday, February 25, 2023 - 10:00am-3:00pm

• Drop off cash and check donations that will be credited to your Pack or Pack members
• Pick up S'Wag Bags for everyone on your Pack
• If any of your members have reached $150 or more in fundraising, you can pick up their Official 2023 Walk for the Animals T-Shirt 
• Receive S'Wag coupons for any member who has reached additional incentive levels
• Grab a little something extra!

If your team has reached $1,500 or more collectively, you will also pick up a Pack Prize for each team member, your Pack Sign* to proudly carry at the Walk and schedule your Pack Photo.
