My Personal Fundraising Page
In 2019, I lost my beloved mother to Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM), following her almost decade long battle. GBM is the most agressive type of brain tumor and the median survival rate is only 14.6 months. Thanks to UC Medical Center, my mom was able to see her 43rd birthday. Sadly, she passed the next day. In 2023, 88,000 people will be diagnosed in the U.S. alone. There is only 3% of all cancer funding that goes to brain tumor and central nervous system cancers, which is why we need to bring awareness and raise funds for research to give those diagnosed a better chance of survival and quality of life. Please join me as I support the UC Brain Tumor Center at the 2023 Walk Ahead for Brain Tumor Discoveries on Sunday, October 15th!
