Check-in & Shirts:
Check-in, shirt pickup, and registration will start at 9 am at the main gate. All participants must check in before entering Truist Field. You'll receive a wristband and your shirt, if you ordered one. If you have friends and family who aren't walking but want to enjoy the event, they'll need to purchase a spectator ticket. Have your ticket QR code ready to help check-in move quickly!
Parking:
A special $10 discounted parking rate is available in the 401 S Mint Street and 401 S. Graham Street Garages. The surface lots at 208 S. Poplar Street and 124 S. Poplar Street are also offering a $10 rate for Walk A Mile participants.
To park in the 401 S Mint Street garage, a code is needed to secure the lower rate. Signage and volunteers will be there to help!
Additional parking is available in other surface lots and garages near Truist Field, though rates may vary.
Vendors:
For the first time, we will have vendors at Walk A Mile! Be sure to check out the offerings: crochet goods, jewelry, gifts, and more! We will also have Flash Tattoos courtesy of Ande Rummel and Wolf Hart Tattoo! 20% of all vendor sales will be donated back to Safe Alliance.
Food & Drink:
The FlashPoint concession stand will serve a variety of classic ballpark foods, including hot dogs, chicken tenders, pretzels, popcorn, soda, and more! Coffee will also be available. Beer from NoDa Brewing will be available at a separate stand in the concourse. Thanks to our generous Exclusive Beer Sponsor, 100% of all alcohol sales will benefit Safe Alliance! Please be aware that Truist Field is a cashless venue.
For Families:
In the Loebsack & Brownlee Kids Zone, there will be an inflatable bounce house, temporary tattoos, face painting, yard games, and more for kids! Charlotte Knights mascot Homer will be joining us to say hello. Great Clips will also have its fan-favorite Crazy Hair station!
Silent Auction:
The Silent Auction is now live! We have a lot of fun items this year, including Charlotte FC and Carolina Ascent tickets, beautiful jewelry, yoga classes, a basketball signed by Hall of Famer Dell Curry, and more! The auction will close at 11:45 am on Saturday.
Awards:
Awards to honor our top fundraisers, creative costumes, and best signs will take place prior to the walk. At the finish line, our top 5 Fastest Finishers In Heels will receive a voucher for a free beer!
