Dear Animal People and Community People:

Thank you for supporting my personal efforts to raise money for the Humane Society of Huron Valley. I have learned so much about you over the years -- all the work you do not just for HSHV but for kids needing medical care, people who are homeless, people on fixed incomes caring for feral pets, animals needing rescue and rehabilitation, colleagues with HIV, kids with diabetes -- let's just agree that you are the best people on the planet.

And HSHV is leading the way with animal rescue, rehabilitation, housing, medical care, socialization, and adoption. It has a network of foster homes to ensure that animals are not euthanized because of space, or because they are older or have special needs, or for some other reason have not been adopted quickly. The shelter is clean and inviting. HSHV reaches kids through humane education, helps injured and trapped wildlife, and helps famr animals.

I have spent decades helping animals (personal care, fund raising, legal services, donations, and board of directors services) and thank you for helping HSHV through your donation. Bless your hearts.
