Been there, needed help getting through, and volunteers from CRC were like angels at the infusion center. No-one should go through this alone, and CRC sees to that in this area.

A little light reading just before getting an allo pbsct.
Most of you know I went through some nasty treatments getting into remission from aggressive MCL (Mantle Cell Lymphoma). Volunteers from the CRC were there at my local infusion center every time I went, with kind words, heated blankets or ice chips, snacks, encouragement, and fascinating personal stories that all helped so much to get through treatment days. I am blessed to have beaten this beast back into the hole it came from and to be well enough to help support them now by participating in their walkathon fundraiser.
