It's time to walk to support the animals!

We would love for you and your furry friends to join us for a fun filled morning at Bayfront Festival Park Saturday June 6th, 9am to 12pm. Gather with us for a day of FUN! whether you are near or far YOU can help us fundraise to help homeless pets.

Your support will allow us to provide food, shelter and medical treatment to the animals in need.

Please supprot Animal Allies by contributing to our page, or by creating your own page. Making a donation is easy and safe. It is through help and generousity of people like you that we are able to continue our work.

The 2026 Walk for Animals Features:

As an independent nonprofit, Animal allies is entirely funded by private donations, adoption and program fees, and fundraising from special events like the Walk for Animals.

Make a Day of it!

The Walk for Animals is so much more than just a walk. We are going to have a blast with all kinds of amazing vendors and entertainment to educate and entertain you!

Heck you might not even do the walk! This day is all about bringing the community and their furry freinds together for a great cause!

There will be exciting things to do and see at this year's walk. Food trucks, face painting, fur painting a ball drop, pet related vendors and so much more.

Please come join us in raising money to help the dogs and cats in our community.

 

Please remember the rules

  • Animals must be on a 6 foot or shorter leash at all times. NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES ARE ALLOWED.
  • animals must be current on vaccinations and are expected to be well behaved and social around adults, childrenn and other pets.
  • Please do not bring a pet who will be easily frightened, agitated or aggressive.

Water will be supplied for the animals, and clean up bags will be available at Bayfront Park and along the walk route.

This is how you can help!

  • Register today as an indivdual or as a team. Building a team with your friends, family, co-workers and of course your 4 legged buddies will make the day more fun!
  • You can register today, or you can register the morning of the event at 9:00am. All waklers who raise $100 or more will earn a Walk for Animals T-shirt! Register before May 14th to guarantee your preferred shirt size

TEAM GOAL- The team that raises the most on donations will win a special event just for them at the shelter!

TOP INDIVIDUAL FUNDRAISER- The individual who raises the most donations will get name a litter of kittens plus receive a fabulous gift bag.

$300 or MORE IN DONATION BY AN INDIVIDUAL WILL BE HONORED AS A GRAND MARSHALL- Each Grand Marshall will receive a Walk for Animals leash flag to proudly display for all to see. Grand Marshalls will also be the first on the walking path.

POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA- Let family and freinds know about your fundraising goal.

SET A GOAL- Setting a goal will help you raise more money to help the animals- those that know you and support you will want to help you reach your goal.

ASK FAMILY TO HELP- Ask your parents, siblings, partners, and family members to tell their freinds about your fundraising goal.Ask friends and family to share your participant page on facebook, instagram and LinkedIn. The more people that see your page the more likely you are to meet your goal.

Get your ball drop tickets and win $200.00!

This is your chance to win! Tennis ball tickets are $5.00 each. We are limiting the balls to 500. At noon on the dot the Minnesota Power line truck will drop the balls, a special guest dog will chose a ball and we wil have a winner. You need not be present to win.

Ball tickets will be available at the shelter starting May 1st during business hours. Cash or check only please.
