Ronald McDonald House Charities® Oklahoma City is excited to host our 12th annual Walk for Kids event, and we want you to join us! This event is a great opportunity for community groups to come together and have a blast while supporting a great cause. What to Expect Day of

Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. 

(All participants must check in at registration prior to participating in activities.)

Walk begins at 9:00 a.m. following opening remarks.

 

Event Information:

Scissortail Park – Robinson Lawn (300 SW 7th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73109)

Robinson lawn is located on the southeast corner of the park near the skate rink.

 

Activities will be from 8:30-11:00 a.m.

 

OKC Thunder Girls (*from 8:30 - 9:30)

Exotic Animal Demonstration by Extreme Animals (*from 9:30-11:00)

Cornhole, Giant Jenga, Checkers & Bucket Ball by Triangle Lawn Games

Balloon Artist John Pansze

Arts and Crafts with Home Depot

Mango Lemonades by Paris Baguette

It’s something we see every day – children healing because they’re surrounded by their families. And while Ronald McDonald House Charities® Oklahoma City may not be able to make the medicine taste better or erase the pain of a much-needed treatment, we can help lessen the burden for families who stay for thousands of nights with us each and every year.

We have been helping children with illnesses and injuries better cope by keeping their families together at our Ronald McDonald House® and our Ronald McDonald Family Room®. By providing them with a ‘home away from home’ and a place where they can be together, we help our families find strength in numbers.
