Ronald McDonald House Charities® Oklahoma City is excited to host our 11th annual Walk for Kids event, and we want you to join us! This event is a great opportunity for community groups to come together and have a blast while supporting a great cause. The event is free to register, so grab your friends and scan the QR code below to create a team.

This year we are celebrating 40 years of RMHC-OKC and we couldn’t think of a better way to commemorate this milestone than by throwing an 80s-themed bash. Not only will we have family-friendly activities, kid’s crafts, and raffle prizes to accompany our scenic walk around Scissortail Park; we will also have 80s-themed costume contests, a Thriller dance competition and of course an air guitar contest.

Online registration for the event is open until June 7.

Registration opens at 8:30 a.m.

Walk begins at 9:30 a.m., following opening remarks

Event Information:

Scissortail Park – Robinson Lawn (300 SW 7th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73109)

Robinson lawn is located on the southeast corner of the park near the skate rink.

Activities will be from 8:30-11:00 a.m.

It’s something we see every day – children healing because they’re surrounded by their families. And while Ronald McDonald House Charities® Oklahoma City may not be able to make the medicine taste better or erase the pain of a much-needed treatment, we can help lessen the burden for Oklahoma families who stay for thousands of nights with us each and every year.

We have been helping children with illnesses and injuries cope better by keeping their families close at our Ronald McDonald House® and our Ronald McDonald Family Room®. By providing them with a ‘home away from home’ and a place where they can be together, we help our families find strength in numbers.
