Have you heard the exciting news? The Yavapai Humane Society is planning the 7th Annual Walk for the Animals on Saturday, May 19 at the Mile High Middle School Field!

My name is Rudy, and I am part of the Frankie’s Friends & Family (FF&F) team. Every year since the Walk's inception our team has lead the pack with our dedicated team of walkers and all those who support us financially!! It will be our 7th year helping to raise awareness in our community for animal welfare while we raise funds to support the many life-saving programs offered by YHS each and every day!!  This includes the newest program – the YHS Equine facility in Chino Valley that helps to rescue, rehabilitate and then find new homes for horses!
 
YHS is committed to helping end pet overpopulation in Yavapai County. As a 'no kill' shelter it has achieved one of the lowest euthanasia rates in the U.S., making it one of the safest shelters to end up if you're a homeless dog or cat.
 
In honor of an animal that fills your life with joy, or has touched your heart in the past, please consider supporting my efforts or register to walk with me and the rest of our team to give the pets that end up at YHS the second chance they deserve and a family to call their own.
