Suzie Lightning was named for the Warren Zevon song of the same name. Some Lyrics:

She's a rat terrier who joined the Gromer Pack in 2005, she was 3 or 4 at the time. Regrettably, she passed away on April 3, 2018. We miss her, and so we Walk for the Animals to support the Yavapai Humane Society in her name this year.

The Gromer pack includes humans Gary and Dagny, volunteer photographers at YHS. And canine members Stacy (rat terrier), Betty (chihuahua), Shady (black lab adopted from YHS), and Anya (rat terrier).
