Ocular Immunology and Uveitis Foundation Walk for Vision

What:    The Walk for Vision is a 5k walk in Boston to raise awareness and funds for research of Ocular Inflammatory Diseases.

When:  Sunday, August 24, 2025

Where: The Hyatt Regency Cambridge 
               575 Memorial Drive
               Cambridge, MA 02139

• If you are not fundraising online, be sure to bring all completed forms and donations collected to the registration table on the day of the Walk for Vision.
• If you have fundraised online, there are no forms to bring the day of the walk but be sure to check in at the registration table. 

10:30am- Registration begins

11:00am- Program and Brunch

12:30pm- Group Picture and Walk


In order to have the $60 walk fee waived, a minimum of $75 must be raised. Teams must raise a minimum of $75 per team member to waive the walk fee of $60 per team member. The walk fee will be charged as recommitment. See the FAQs for more information on the walk fee and how to get it waived.

The Walk for Vision encourages individual walkers to reach the goal of raising $500 and team walkers to reach the goal of raising $2,500. The money raised will go towards the funding of the ground breaking research and education efforts at The Ocular Immunology and Uveitis Foundation. 

Below is a list of hotels in Cambridge should you need a place to stay before or after the walk. You will be directed to the corresponding hotel's website by clicking on it.

The parking fee is waived if you park in the Hyatt Regency Cambridge. However, the fee will not be waived if you valet park with the Hyatt Regency Cambridge.  

The Boston Walk for Vision is a 5k Walk around the scenic Charles River.

The route is as follows:

Take right at end of driveway of Hyatt Hotel, cross Memorial Drive and turn left onto sidewalk along the Charles River and Memorial Drive. Walk along the Charles River and when you reach Mass Ave cross Mass Ave to other side(water station will be located there) and turn right to proceed over the Harvard Bridge as noted on map, otherwise known as Mass Ave Bridge. Walk along the bridge until just before it ends and turn left onto the down ramp that leads to walking path along the Storrow Drive side of the Charles River. Walk along the Storrow Drive side of the Charles River until you reach the 2nd footpath bridge over the inner canal. At this 2nd bridge, you will turn around and walk the same route in the opposite direction back to the Hyatt Hotel.
