I'm honored to captain team Operation Crossroads for the 4th consecutive year. Please consider helping us support Matthew 25 Nashville (M25) by joining with our team for the annual “Walk In The Woods”. M25 is more than just a shelter providing meals and a place to stay. It helps homeless men in Middle Tennessee rebuild their lives while navigating homelessness, addiction, and, sadly, many times deep personal trauma. Approximately 80-90% of the men M25 helps are veterans who, with the help of M25, make courageous steps toward stability, sobriety, employment, and independence giving them hope for a brighter future and reminding them they are supported and loved. M25 helps homeless men escape not only homelessness, but also addiction, and other issues. It assists them in finding employment and learning how to manage their personal finances so that they can successfully transition from homelessness to temporary housing and ultimately back into a permanent living space they can call their own. It is an example of, “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” Last year, our team raised over $3000 and was The Walk’s top fundraising team for the first time. Our goal is to raise even more this year, and by doing so help M25 reach their overall fundraising goal of $30,000 in order to help as many men as possible break the cycle of homelessness in 2026.
