Walk Strong

Thank you for joining Burning Hope’s 5th Annual 3K Walk in support of the Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) community! Because of walkers and donors like you, we exceed our fundraising goal every year. We are truly grateful for every participant, every donation, and every step taken. This walk is dedicated to raising awareness, funding research, and improving treatment options for those living with CRPS. This year, all proceeds will benefit Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Association (RSDSA) and The Pediatric Pain Management Center at Children’s HealthSM in Dallas, helping to advance care and bring hope to those in need. We can’t wait to see you at the 5th Annual Walk Strong!

Create a Team

Gather your friends, family, or organization and join the movement to support Walk Strong! Start by choosing a team captain. When the captain registers, they will select the option to create a team. Then it’s time to get creative and come up with a fun team name that represents your group. Once your team is set up, invite everyone you know to register or donate under your team name. The more participants and donations your team brings in, the greater your impact will be – and the closer you’ll be to becoming the top fundraising team. Plus, the team that raises the most money for Walk Strong will receive a special prize!

Burning Hope

Burning Hope is a nonprofit whose mission is to give hope to those affected by Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, raise awareness of CRPS, and support research and treatment opportunities through events and fundraising.

About the Founder, Miller Kerr

At ten years old, Miller was diagnosed with CRPS, an abnormal nerve condition caused by an overreaction to pain signals that the nervous system cannot shut off. After many painful months of trying to find a doctor who could help, hours of therapy, and visits to several hospitals, Miller finally found the Cleveland Clinic. Through its pain management program, the team helped Miller learn how to walk again and cope with the pain. Miller has lived with the pain for the past 12 years, showing just how STRONG she can be!
