We're Raising Funds to Support Survivors of Gender Based Violence

At the Unitarian Universalists of the Cumberland Valley, our faith calls us to transform lives and care for the world. Grounded in our Unitarian Universalist values and centered in Love, we believe in building communities rooted in justice, equity, generosity, and the inherent worth and dignity of every person.

That is why UUCV is proud to participate in Walk the Mile, a fundraiser supporting survivors of gender-based violence through the YWCA of Carlisle & Cumberland County.

Our faith reminds us that love is more than something we believe—it is something we practice. We put our values into action by showing up, speaking out, and standing alongside survivors as we work together toward a world where every person can live with safety, dignity, freedom, and hope.

Every donation—big or small—helps us reach our fundraising goal and supports this important work.

You can help by making a donation and sharing our fundraising page with your friends, family, and community.

Together, we can Walk the Mile. Together, we can put Love at the center. Together, we can help build a community where everyone can flourish.

Thank you for walking alongside us and supporting survivors of gender-based violence.
