About the Walks

Epilepsy is what unites us, and together we will walk in solidarity.

Please join us at any of our 6 Walks to End Epilepsy for a non-competitive, family-friendly, fun day of celebration that will raise critical funds and awareness for EFCT and the local epilepsy community! The money that is raised is vitally important to maintaining and expanding EFCT’s programs and services that include support groups, epilepsy webinars, seizure trainings, education conferences, advocacy, recreation, financial assistance, and self-management programs. These are FREE events but donations are greatly appreciated. Participants will hear personal stories from people affected by epilepsy, connect with others who share similar experiences, and enjoy a post-walk celebration with music and food!

The walks are the largest fundraising and awareness events in Connecticut to benefit the local epilepsy community. Become one of the hundreds who will walk across the state this spring to increase awareness of epilepsy, raise funds for EFCT, and build a community with others impacted by epilepsy.

Please note: If you would like your team to receive a Team Sign, you must create your team by April 11th.

If you are interested in creating a Walk to End Epilepsy in your town for 2025, please reach out to Elizabeth at elizabeth@epilepsyct.com.

Come Volunteer!

Want to help in a meaningful way? Join us at the Walks to End Epilepsy as a volunteer! We will need help with set up, check in, registration, t-shirt sales, serving food, clean up, and more. EFCT can provide community service acknowledgment letters to any volunteers that need them!  Please contact Elizabeth at 860-346-1924 or elizabeth@epilepsyct.com for more information.
