As many of you now know, I am battling with Mixed connective Tissue Disease.  MCTD is a rare autoimmune disorder that is characterized by signs and symptoms of a combination of disorders, primarily lupus, scleroderma, and polymyositis.  There is no cure for these diseases and treatment depends on how severe the disease is and the organs involved. 

I can just imagine a day when doctors can say, “There is a cure.” Until that day though, there is still work to be done. That’s why I’m taking action in the fight against Lupus and other Connective Tissue Diseases.
