Hello All,

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.  

To say this last year has been hard, is a vast understatement.

For those who don't know, STRESS can add fuel to the fire of a lupus flare, and even cause lupus flares. The amount of stress endured by my courageous mother (who was also diagnosed with lupus in the last couple years) and our family has been astronomical.  

For us, the walk is going to hit different this year because we are missing one of my most valiant supporters, my dad.

My mom and dad have been a part of this walk since its beginning, and have supported my lupus journey for even longer (almost 31 years).  That kind of support is mind-boggling, and I am so incredibly grateful.

This year the Lupus Walk is on May 10th, which just so happens to be World Lupus Day!  My mom and I will be there, and I know my dad will be there in spirit.
