Welcome to the Helen Wheels 2026 Lupus Walk page.  I hope you can join me on Saturday, May 9, to support raising funds for the Lupus Foundation of America. I would love to see a big team come walk with me this year if possible, otherwise, any donations would be greatly appreciated as well.

I was diagnosed with lupus in 1997. Almost 30 years ago. I've been fortunate that it has been relatively maintained, and for that I am thankful.

My mom, Helen, was diagnosed with lupus shortly after my birth. She was a warrior throughout her lupus journey, and we're walking in memory of her. We are also walking in memory of my dad, Will, as well. He was our constant supporter. They are both missed immensely.
