If you’ve had the privilege of meeting Henry, you know he can light up a room without saying a single word.
The way he flaps his hands when he’s excited. His joyful squeals. The way he says “I love you” with his eyes. His superpower of hand-holding. These are just a few of the countless things that make him perfectly Henry.

People who meet him are instantly drawn in — and before long, they’ve become some of our biggest cheerleaders. That’s the magic of Team Henry.

Life with SCN2A isn’t easy. When Henry was first diagnosed, our neurologist simply said, “Good luck.” We didn’t settle for that. We searched, we learned, and we found our people.

Now, we have a village — a community that celebrates the wins, holds us through the hard days, and walks alongside us every step of the way. We celebrate every inchstone — those small but mighty milestones that mean the world to us — because we know how hard-fought each one is. It truly takes a village to raise a child with EXTRAordinary needs, and ours is made up of family, friends, and supporters like you who stand beside us through it all.

For the past year, I’ve had the privilege of serving as Program Manager for the FamilieSCN2A Foundation — connecting families, building support networks, and pushing research forward. This mission has my whole heart — for Henry, for our community, and for our vision of a world with effective treatments and cures for all SCN2A-related disorders.
