Why We Walk
We at Webb Bridge MS and Autrey Mill MS believe in caring and advocating for people and ideas within our community. When we learned about the issues faced in South Sudan because of a lack of access to clean water, we took action. For the past 4 years, we have partnered with Water is Basic and raised over $50,000 through student led efforts to help improve the quality of life in South Sudan.
This year, students set a goal of helping restore access to clean water for 30 villages ($15,000).
It takes a village to save a village, and we believe in having a positive impact on tomorrow’s world.
Walk with Us
If you believe in the power of CITIZENSHIP AND POSITIVITY, please join us for a day of learning as we walk in solidarity with the women and children of South Sudan who walk miles each day to access water.
LEARN. EAT. SHOP. PLAY.
All proceeds from the day will go to Water is Basic in an effort to restore access to clean water through this amazing women-led repair initiative.
