Fundraising Page

I have been Sailing for Others for the past 13 years.  Hospice and this supporting event have always been dear to my heart, but ever since the passing of my mother and father; it has taken on a whole new meaning and importance.  The help and support Hospice gave to my father and my mother during their final weeks, words cannot explain.  They are truly a wonderful organization and their care and compassion are without bounds.

Hospice of the Upstate is a non-profit Hospice.  The funds raised through this regatta hosted by Western Carolina Sailing Club are used to support patients without insurance and to help fund bereavement programs and other special programs offered by Hospice of the Upstate.

This year I again have the unique ability to create a fundraising team to help support Hospice of the Upstate.  The name of my team is Vespula which is also the boat name of my Buccaneer 18.  My team members are also Sailing for Others by individually fundraising for Hospice of the Upstate.  Their totals roll-up into our team goal.  If you would like to join my team you can do so by going to:
